We’ve all done it; we know the feeling when we help someone. We know too the feeling when we see a need, hesitate in the moment and turn away, the hand of love withheld. Such, in this moment, when we turn from our inner spiritual light, are the workings of mortal mind. We do, however, have within us the ability to rise above this state, to quite rightly view both ourself and our fellow-man subject to the divine laws of nature; all of the one primordial source; all possessing and worthy of God’s love. We have but to abide by the golden rule, always seeing the good in others.
