For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
— St. Matthew 6:14
King James Version of the Bible

Reflections From Infinite Mind”
Do Unto Others … p 51

Life has no greater purpose, no higher calling, than that of seeing the inborn good in others and loving them for it. It would be idle, at best, to suggest that this is achieved simply by an ephemeral thought of mortal mind. Nay, such thought can be but an expression of spiritual consciousness, a transcendence of mortal mind into oneness with the primordial force which governs All: Divine Mind.

We begin this ennobling of the soul by taking our mind off ourself, thus to enter the euphoric state of selflessness. This simple change of attitude, for such it is, enables us to think of others first, while at once giving us purpose: Love of ourself, of our fellow-man and purpose in life are essential to our own well-being.
