Proteins: We cannot stress too highly that animal protein foods--meat, eggs and milk--always come with fat and this is how we should eat them. Animal fat supplies vitamins A and D needed for the assimilation of protein. Consumption of lowfat milk products, egg whites and lean meat can lead to serious deficiencies of these vital fat-soluble nutrients. (pg.17)

2)  "If you are clear in your own mind what you intend doing, avoid asking advice from others. No less so, ignore unsolicited advice: BELIEVE IN YOURSELF."

6)  "Stay focused. Be true to yourself. Don't try to be all things to all people. Above all, KEEP IT SIMPLE."

Cholesterol: Mother's milk is high in cholesterol because it is essential for growth and development. Cholesterol is also needed to produce a variety of steroids that protect against cancer, heart disease and mental illness. (pg.17)

Soul-to-Soul Conversation...

Isn't it a delightful experience when a soul personally connects with another soul! I enjoyed that unexpected experience just the other day while I was at my bank.

I was beckoned to come forward by a teller I've seen a few times before. We always have a pleasant experience but this time it was different...she let me know a little more about herself.

I told her how lovely her hair looked...did she get it cut? Yes, she said, I had to because I was loosing so much hair and found out I have a thyroid condition.

Because our ministry is also about the "Body," (we study Nourishing Traditions, by Sally Fallon with Mary G. Enig, Ph.D.) I was able to pass along good information about the benefits of ingesting coconut oil. Then she shared that in her country of birth those living in the South use coconut oil for everything and their hair is healthy and luscious.

This lovely encounter was possible because two souls cared for one another!!
I was blessed!

Touching with Love

I touch my wife
To be ushered into
The presence of God
I stop to catch my breath

In awe I wonder
At this gift divine
A touch that bestirs
My very soul

Bathing in its wondrous beauty
I know it to be real
And can but give thanks to God
And kiss her
