Divine Goodness: Our Salvation … p. 160

We have long sensed the burdensome weight of materialism in our life before we come to know and to acknowledge our unhappy plight. The sensory signals, which cannot be denied, are those of emptiness, of a dispirited and depressing lack of worth, no less a questioning sense of purpose. Were we to confront our inner disquiet, insight alone would lead us to question what it is that we are about; give a vision of the bleak future should we continue on this path and, not least, make us aware that we alone are responsible, both for our present state and for its resolution.

Experience, no less common sense, shows there is but one avenue to salvation, to a place of inner peace and harmony. Quite simply, we go within. Always, when dealing with disquiet, look to the light, to thoughts loving and spiritually uplifting. Unwavering faith, the spiritual essence of our God-given soul, reveals our true inner Being. Knowing our true self and manifesting our own divine goodness, is alone our salvation.
