The Weston A. Price Foundation was founded in 1999 to disseminate the research of nutrition pioneer Dr. Weston Price, whose studies of isolated nonindustrialized peoples established the parameters of human health and determined the optimum characteristics of human diets.
Dr. Price's research demonstrated that humans achieve perfect physical form and perfect health generation after generation only when they consume nutrient-dense whole foods and the vital fat-soluble activators found exclusively in animal fats.
Chronic illness in industrialized nations has reached epidemic proportions because we have been dazzled by fast foods, fractionated foods, convenience foods, packaged foods, fake foods, embalmed foods, ersatz foods—all the bright baubles that fill up the shelves at our grocery stores, convenience markets, vending machines and even health food stores.
Modern food choices and preparation techniques constitute a radical change from the way man has nourished himself for thousands of years and, from the perspective of history, represent a fad that not only has severely compromised his health and vitality but may well destroy him.

The Light of God
The light of God is within us: we are born with it. We have goodness and love, human traits that never leave us. As well, we are gifted from birth with the capacity to reason, enabling us to distinguish between right and wrong. And, not least, we are given will power, that which molds our character and shapes our conduct--in short, our very life. All of these innate God-given senses are affirmations of God's Presence and of our humanity.
There is never a time when God is not within us, no matter if we are at our lowest or at our best. Truly, God is our Shepherd. Believing and instinctively knowing this is spiritually uplifting. Thus do we walk in the Way, all the while enveloped in God's abiding love and goodness.

Loving God
Talking to God throughout the day, ever striving to do His will, quietens the mind, enriches the soul and, not least, comforts us. With each passing day His presence within us becomes more real. We come to know ourselves and to give thanks for who we are. We become less judgmental and more understanding of others. Confident that we are living testimony to God's love, we are enabled through Him to enrich the lives of others.
Being as one with God is an uplifting and a joyful experience, one that abides with us always. Quite simply, we are very much a better person for knowing and loving God.

SOUL ACQUAINTANCE...
Humanity is God's own creation, each person a microcosm of His divine spiritual light; His essence our very soul--the ever-present god within.
Of that which is our being, only the soul is immortal, and only the soul embodies God's goodness and love. All else in life is ephemeral.
Were we to become fully functioning human beings we would faithfully attend to the needs of each of our component parts--mind, body and soul. Evidence abounds, however, that we fail to nourish the soul, what with man's ongoing inhumanity to man. This, much to our own peril.
It is the soul, via our own spirituality, that unites us with God. All else in life is secondary at best. Left unattended, the soul lies dormant within. It becomes enlivened only when we acknowledge God's presence.
The quest to know God is a journey that each must take alone, each in his own way. What begins as a longing becomes, through faith, spiritual enlightenment: That which unites the god within to the Supreme God who is both within and everywhere around us.
