And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

All That Bedevils Us … p. 19

All that bedevils us is a product of the mind — the mind of the body.

If ever we are to free ourselves from its pernicious influence, we must put worldly thoughts aside in search of our own divine spirituality. Thoughts of God, of His Goodness and of His Love for all, lift the shadowy veils from our soul to free the mind from its physical constraints. Our higher spiritual senses are in turn ‘freed’ to minister the mind. Such senses — intuition and understanding — take us to a higher plane, one that allows us to commune with God. We are becalmed with self love and with a love of others.

Our thoughts, though pure, are but the first stage of our journey. If we are to honour our God-given Peace and to manifest His Glory, we must as well touch the lives of others with God’s wondrous, all-encompassing, Love.
