Becoming...

BECOMING...'Tis commendable to feed the soul, to enrich our spirituality. What may at the outset appear a lonely, no less a daunting task -- for who among us early learned that God is our soul -- becomes a source of INNER PEACE.  When we at once question our PURPOSE and SEEK answers.

Were we, upon awakening each day, to take but a moment to commune with God, to acknowledge His presence, and to ask: What am I Becoming?  That is to say: Am I being true to myself?  Am I able to accept my own innate goodness and to share it with others?

BECOMING is full of hope, a process of change and, above all, a spiritually transcending experience.  With God's grace, it is a never-ending joyful process.

From Beryl's email: Thank you Bonnie, those words were very beautiful and touched me where I needed to be touched today. Our wonderful Border Collie was attacked and bitten by 3 coyotes and she is okay but very sore and I had such an anger at those creatures. God in His wisdom had you share those thoughts and I have calmed down and realised that they are also creatures of God and that I have to forgive. Now I am a happier person. Thank you Be Blessed

From Delores' email: I love the message. I am becoming more and more of an artist. My prayer this lenten season has been "increase my desire for what you desire of me" and my passion for art is growing.

From Rebeca's email: This is beautiful. I am going to keep reading it. It just made me think about some things that we sometimes stress about and think about the future, with fear...forgetting that God´s grace is always with us, he wants us to succeed in spirit.

From Yung's email: I agree that through life we are in the process of becoming something. Only God knows our plans and how far we will go. Life is a mystery. Always evolving and bringing new things into our life. Thank you for your Ministry, which does a lot of good and inspire a lot of people.

From Shirley's email: Always 'food for thought'! Most days, now that I'm retired and not fully 'on the go non-stop' with life's doings, I take the time to have a coffee in my living room and thank God for all of my blessings, and sometimes just talk to him about the 'concerns' I have for others, and oft-times ask for his intervention in helping them make the right decisions along their journey in life. And other times, I ask for his guidance about what role I am to play in the situation! My constant approach to life is to be the best person I can be before God, and many times, I'm not sure what path to take in accomplishing this end. However, if I enlist God's help, I am inevitably guided in the 'right direction'. As I get older, I realize what a fabulous journey of learning we are on, and each person must find his or her own spiritual path along life's road. God is always there to listen and guide us if we approach him for help!

From Rani's email: Thank you for sharing Garry's beautiful message. What a brilliant reflection. We are so busy concentrating on the loneliness that we do not see the connections that we are making with ourselves and the one who resides within. Finally with his grace and blessings we radiate the divine light and are becoming beings...Garry is a lighted soul, whose light is reflected in his writings and reaches out to touch his readers.

From Pat's email: Interesting the reflection matches my current insights...that I understand that I'm shedding the stuff the world wants me to know and belief and returning or re-becoming who I've been all along.
